Cookie policy

1. About this policy

This English version is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Romanian version, the Romanian version applies. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the website https://padelmania.ro (the “Site”), managed by S.C. PADEL CLUB BUCURESTI S.R.L. (“PADELMANIA”, “we”), CUI RO18687692, with its registered office in București, Sectorul 1, Intrarea Cretei nr. 8-10, ap. 1, and how you can manage your preferences.

This policy complies with Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). You can find information about the processing of personal data in the Privacy policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They let the site work properly, remember certain choices or, with your consent, find out how it is used.

Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” also refers to these technologies.

Cookies can be:

• first-party – set by the Site;
• third-party – set by other providers whose services are used on the Site;
• session cookies – deleted when you close the browser;
• persistent cookies – remain on the device for the set duration or until you delete them.

3. How we use cookies

• On your first visit, the Site uses only the necessary cookies.
• The analytics cookies are activated only after you give your consent, through the “Accept all” button or from “Settings”.
• We do not use advertising or marketing cookies and we do not track your visit for remarketing purposes.
• The Google maps on the club pages and on the contact page load together with the page (section 4.3).

4. Which categories of cookies we use

4.1. Necessary cookies (always active)

They are essential for the Site's operation and security, for example to remember your cookie choice or to protect forms against spam. They cannot be disabled from the cookie banner. Under Law no. 506/2004, these cookies do not require consent.

4.2. Analytics cookies (optional)

They help us understand how the Site is used: which pages are visited, for how long, from what type of device and from what source. We use this information in aggregate form to improve the Site. They are activated only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Tool used: Google Analytics 4, configured through Google Tag Manager (provider: Google Ireland Limited).

Information about how Google uses cookies: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

4.3. External content: Google Maps

The club pages and the contact page contain embedded Google maps, which load together with the page. To display the map, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and other technical data and may set cookies on your device, under Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

You can also use the “Open in Google Maps” link, which opens the map directly on Google's site without loading it on the Site.

4.4. What we do not use

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, or social media pixels. If we add such tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent separately before activating them.

5. Third-party sites

The Site contains links to third-party platforms: Playtomic (court booking), padeltour.ro, rankedin.com and livetickets.ro (event sign-ups and tickets), WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linktree. When you access these platforms, you leave the Site, and their cookies are governed by their own policies. We recommend reading them.

6. How to manage your preferences

6.1. From the cookie banner

On your first visit, the banner gives you three options:

• Accept all – activates the necessary and analytics cookies;
• Necessary only – the Site uses only the necessary cookies;
• Settings – choose, by category, which cookies you accept.

If you close the banner without choosing, only the necessary cookies are used.

6.2. At any time, from “Cookie settings”

You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. After withdrawal, analytics cookies are no longer used, and those already set are deleted.

We remember your choice for 6 months. After this period, or if we significantly change how we use cookies, we ask for your consent again.

6.3. From your browser settings

You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Instructions can be found in each browser's help section. If you block the necessary cookies, some Site features (for example saving preferences or sending forms) may not work properly.

7. Your rights

To the extent that cookies involve the processing of personal data, you have the rights described in the Privacy policy, including the right to withdraw your consent and the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

8. Changes to the policy

We may update this policy, for example when we change the tools used on the Site. The version in force is the one published on the Site, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
