Padel in Romania has a story that is still young, and Rafael Moreno has been writing it from the very first pages. He has been coaching since 2011, and in 2013 he became the country's first padel coach, helping introduce and grow the sport.

Head coach of the National Team

Today, Rafael is the head coach of the Romanian National Padel Team. He puts more than ten years of experience on court at the service of the players who represent the country, along with the same energy that made him one of the people who moved padel forward in Romania.

In September 2026, after the training camp in Brașov, the technical staff led by Rafael selected Romania's men's and women's squads for the 2026 FIP World Cup qualifiers. “I take on this responsibility with great enthusiasm, humility and respect,” Rafael said about his new role. The national team also trained at PADELMANIA Tunari, with Rafael on court, in preparation for the World Cup.

What does he bring to every session? International experience, technical expertise and a passion for developing players of every level. For him, every level matters: from elite athletes to those holding a racket for the first time.

PADELMANIA Head Coach, at Tunari

At PADELMANIA, Rafael is Head Coach and coaches at the Tunari club, as part of PADELMANIA Academy. If you want to train at Tunari, you don't need to know in advance which coach or format suits you. Tell us your location, your level and when you can play, and reception will recommend the right coach and group.

We recommend starting in a group: padel is a team sport, and you learn more alongside other players.

Put Fun into Learning

His coaching philosophy rests on continuous progress, a positive attitude and one simple belief: learning should be fun. His motto says it all: Put Fun into Learning.

It's no coincidence that the PADELMANIA signature is Put Fun into Sports. You progress more easily when you enjoy the game, when you have people around you who encourage you and a club you love coming back to.
